A <a title=\"promotional articles\" href=\"http:\/\/wordconstructions.com.au\/blog\/2008\/08\/promotional-articles-2\/\" target=\"_blank\">promotional article<\/a> is 500 &#8211; 600 words of information that you make available for people to use on websites and in <a title=\"newsletter content\" href=\"http:\/\/wordconstructions.com.au\/blog\/category\/newsletter-content\/\" target=\"_blank\">newsletters<\/a>. At the end of the article is your bio which is how you get promotion by letting people use your article.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright\" title=\"Blogging includes guest author pieces\" src=\"http:\/\/www.wordconstructions.com.au\/images\/ablog.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"161\" height=\"36\" \/>A guest blog post\u00a0is a <a title=\"Quality content for guest blog posts\" href=\"http:\/\/wordconstructions.com.au\/blog\/2012\/03\/quality-content-for-guest-blog-posts\/\">blog post you write for someone else&#8217;s blog<\/a>. The length will vary depending on the blog and topic involved but is probably 300 &#8211; 500 words long. You may have a bio at the end of the post, a bio elsewhere on the blog\u00a0or simply a link from the author line. Generally, the blog post is not duplicated anywhere else.<\/p>\n<p>So the <a title=\"promotional articles seen their day?\" href=\"http:\/\/wordconstructions.com.au\/blog\/2011\/03\/have-promotional-articles-seen-their-day\/\" target=\"_blank\">promotional article<\/a> will potentially be used in many places while a guest blog post is generally used once.
