It just doesn&#8217;t look professional to say &#8220;Business M is unethical&#8221; or &#8220;Don&#8217;t use Business N&#8221;, and there are of course legal implications.<\/p>\n<p>It is different if someone approaches you to ask about a business or person, but I think that\u00a0using a public forum to criticise is a very risky action.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, it can be very frustrating to always be the professional party and not publicly denigrate someone, but it is the better long term action.<\/p>\n<p>I am curious, however, as to how people feel about a calm review\u00a0 (ie factual and non-emotive) of a supplier on sites that warn people about disreputable businesses &#8211; <a title=\"not good enough\" href=\"http:\/\/www.notgoodenough.org\" target=\"_blank\">not good enough<\/a>, <a title=\"consumer complaints - the truth\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ripoffreport.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">ripoff report<\/a>, etc. Is that as damaging to how you view a business?<\/p>\n<p>Is social media changing this?
