 Excerpt of presentation speech written for K-Gen's expansion into
China
Honoured Guests, Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome
to today’s presentation. I am Daya De Silva, co-owner of K-Gen Hair Care Pty
Ltd, Australia.
We are here today as we are interested in developing an
export market in China, with the longer-term intention of establishing a
manufacturing base here.
Currently in China, you only have access to
very expensive hair care products or cheaper Indian-made products. We at K-Gen
believe that the Chinese deserve a higher quality hair care product without a
luxury price tag, and we intend providing this to you.
K- Gen was
established twelve years ago in Australia by Bianca De Silva. The company is
recognised throughout Australia as a provider of quality products at reasonable
prices.

In Australia, K-Gen Hair Care remains a family owned and run
business and we are proud of that. We are recognised throughout the hairdressing
industry as producers of high quality products at competitive
prices.
K-Gen supplies hairdressers directly with all their needs, from
shampoos and conditioners used in the basin, permanent wave solutions, colour
treatments and protein treatments, through to styling products such as hair gel
and wax.
Bianca and K-Gen Hair Care feel ready to expand our productions
beyond Australia. We are looking to China for this expansion as we see China
having both a growing economy and a need for quality hair care products.
