Just as a contrast, my daughter prepared a document this week for a cub badge.

The instructions actually required her to use at least 2 font styles, 2 font sizes, 2 letter colours and as much colour and interest as she could! The idea was to show she knew how to do various functions, but the result is not what most of us would use for a professional image for our business!

Your comments apply to a document I opened today, Donna-Marie. The font was interesting but I could hardly read a word! I just changed it all to something basic and then printed it off - legilibilty is much more important than looking pretty!

I remember my early days on the computer too, playing with all the different fonts. There are so many great ones to choose from but - as attractive as some of them may seem - the finished product/document always looks better when a consistent and appropriate font has been used.
